EEC Electric Scooters
A large part of the AMOTO two-wheeler catalog carries EEC or COC listings aimed at European importers. This page covers the main EEC-listed models with their published figures, and is explicit about what "EEC-certified" does and does not prove.
A21 — the 60V flagship, detail-page figures
The A21 is one of the three flagship series named on the manufacturer's home page. The figures below are taken from the A21 detail page itself; where other catalog pages describe the A21 differently, we follow the detail page and say so on the page.
| Motor power | 2000 W |
|---|---|
| Maximum speed | 45 km/h |
| Battery capacity | 60 V 32 Ah |
| Range | 60–70 km |
| Charge time | 6–8 hours |
| Controller | 12T modular controller |
| Brakes | Disc brake / drum brake (front / rear) |
The A22 sits next to it in the catalog as the fat-tire EEC/COC model: the A22 listing gives a 1500W motor, a 20Ah battery and a fat tire in Citycoco style. The EH01 and EH02 Citycoco models also carry EEC/COC in their page titles and are covered in depth on the Citycoco page.
More EEC-listed models in the catalog
Several further models publish a "Certification: EEC" field in their specification blocks. The S04 and S05 list 60V platforms with a 40–60 km range per charge; the C1 publishes the same 40–60 km band; the X5 steps up to a 2001–3000W platform with 60–80 km published; the CP-9 and HM-series three-wheelers list EEC alongside 60V platforms (see 3 wheel electric scooters); and the CP-8 is the exception that publishes COC instead, with a 100–120 km range. Treat each model's listing as model-specific: an EEC field on one page does not transfer to a different model code.
| S04 / S05 / C1 | 40–60 km · 60 V · 1001–2000 W class |
|---|---|
| X5 | 60–80 km · 60 V · 2001–3000 W class |
| U1 | 60–80 km · 60 V · 2001–3000 W class |
| CP-8 (COC field) | 100–120 km · 60 V · 8–10 h charging |
Can you send the EEC certificate for a model?
Certificates are available on request. Tell us the exact model code via the inquiry form and we will request the document set for that model — do not rely on a certificate issued for a different model code.
Does an EEC listing mean I can register it anywhere in Europe?
Registration practice still varies by member state and by speed class (25 km/h and 45 km/h models are treated differently). The street legal guide walks through the checks to run with your local authority before ordering.
Which EEC model should a new importer start with?
Start from the published speeds: the A11 publishes 25 km/h (see commuter scooters) and the EH/A21 models publish 45 km/h — and confirm which registration class your market applies to each before ordering.
